For Clients

AB BioTechnologies, Inc. is a contract service provider located in Bloomington, Indiana.  We have a full service lab for the development of parenteral and diagnostic products, and we offer full pre-formulation, formulation, analytical, and process development of these products including both small and large molecules.  Freeze-drying, or lyophilization, is one of our key areas of expertise, so we have also worked on formulations and lyophilization cycles for the tissue and food industries as well.  Additionally, some of our clients have staff and laboratories but not the expertise in development.  In those cases, AB BioTechnologies can act as a consulting firm to help guide and direct the development activities at your facility utilizing and educating your staff.  Finally, our founder, Dr. J. Jeff Schwegman, is a world renowned expert in formulation and lyophilization cycle development, and has been all over the world teaching courses and giving lectures on these topics.  As such, in addition to lab services, we also offer customized training courses that are tailored specifically to your needs.  These can be conducted on site at your facility, or at AB BioTechnologies, and these can be done in either a lecture only format, or a format including both lectures and a hands-on laboratory component where attendees get experience with working on the actual equipment used for formulation and lyophilization cycle development activities.

We are a small, privately held corporation, which means that we can work quickly, efficiently, and for a very competitive price, while still offering the personal service that companies desire for their outsourced development needs.  We are currently in the process of becoming cGLP compliant, which will allow us to produce Toxicology and Pre-Clinical materials for these early phase animal studies in the near term.  In the long term, we are working on becoming fully cGMP compliant and will be adding small-scale manufacturing capabilities to our service line.  This will allow us to produce Phase I Clinical supplies in addition to Toxicology and Pre-Clinical materials.
